.. 4 weeks to EXAMS!! ..

Finally my Macro test is over!! It was really tough! The answers all seems the same?!! :(

Well well... Hopefully by the grace of God, I will not do so badly.....

Just one more presentation to do next Thurs, and all ready for exams!

Today a lot of people skipped lecture! Must be the tests or assignments... Ha... My tutorial today only 5 people turned up! Anyway, this lecture, Accounting, Decisions and Accountability, always very packed one... But today, as you can see, quite a number of empty seats around...


Anyway, the weather here has turned cold again this week! It has been soooooo cold especially in the night. Weather forecast that it will be 7-9 degrees over the next 4 days... WINTER IS COMING!! Trees here are turning "BOTAK"!


Hopefully winter will not be too cold for me to "tahan"!

It has been a hectic hectic two weeks.

An accounting major assignment that drove me nuts, but thank God, I completed it and submitted it already!.. and a MacroEcons test on this Wed! I really really need His grace!

41 days to returning to SINGAPORE!! I am sooooo sooooo happy!!

My exam time-table is out, 3 papers to do before I can return to SGP:

24th June: Accounting, Decisions and Accountability
30th June: Organizational Behavior
1st July: MacroEconomics

Had been sleeping at really really weird hours, 3am, 4am, 6am and 830am over the last couple of days.... But I realized I am more productive at such weird hours. I just can't seem to do much during the day and evening......

Studying is really a "torture" for me............ Miss working life so much, especially my colleagues at Citibank....

Miss church, miss my CG people...

Miss my family so much... Miss my home, miss playing with my 2 nephews. Miss walking around Jurong Point...

I JUST CANNOT BELIEVE KAPLAN'S SERVICE STANDARDS!!!

I just really want to blog about this!!!

My certificate & transcripts, by right, should be ready & given to me in FEB this year. Due to some unknown reasons (which they didn't really explain), it is not ready, and now is already MAY 2009. Nvm. The program manager emailed and said that it is ready for collection. My kind sister helped me to go down to Kaplan @ Cuppage to collect the C&T last week, BUT, the program manager was NOWHERE to be found and COULD NOT be contacted. The customer service person advised my sister to go down another day and of course my sister refused to! Why should she make the trip down again when Kaplan's people are just so inefficient & irresponsible???????

The customer service person quickly offered courier service to my sister, said that she will arrange with the program manager to courier the C&T to her. Wow, I thought not bad, at least they are doing something about it. Give them some credits. BUT TO MY HORROR, MY SISTER HAS NOT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE THAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is happening to the service standards???? And I just cannot believe again & again we have to be made so FRUSTRATED by this silly KAPLAN!!!!!!

I am ok now. Just want to voice out!! I really hope they will do something about their service standards if they really want to survive longer in this competitive world.

I just hope I can get my C&T soon so that I NEVER have to deal with Kaplan EVER again.

Went to the library again today.. As I said, it will be my second home for now. Haha... Booked a study room, we are allowed to book it for a maximum of 2 hours daily. So it's like our private room.. Haha..

I had booked the study room for everyday next week! Haha... Must make full use of the facilities, then it is really experiencing UNI LIFE! :P

.. Studying in the Library ..

Patsy, Janice and me went to City West Library today! City West is my campus and it is about 20 mins walk from our hostel. Janice loved the library so much! She says it is so much nicer & cosier than City East Campus, which is her campus. I have not been to City East library before, maybe next time can drop by visit.. Hee hee...

Anyway, it was really fruitful! We reached at 7pm, left at 11pm. Took the campus security car back to our hostel, and it took less than 5 mins! I managed to complete the ratio calculations for my accounting assignment part A, just need to type it onto the word document. This term will be SUPER busy, with the assignments and tests and a presentation! Then exams will be in June, which is next month! I better get my momentum started!! Another 5 weeks of lectures & tutorials left... time really flies!

Though I really don't like studying, hee hee.. I am still glad that I can have this Uni experience.. Had always "envied" people studying in University, so now I have this opportunity, I should be thankful! Haha.. But it's really so much better to have friends to study together with. Motivated!

Library shall be my second home for now! LOL! :)

.. 2nd term of SP2 has started! ..

Time flies and we are in the month of May!

Had enjoyed a 2 weeks break and term has started again! Now into the 2nd term of the study period. Another 7 weeks and will be exam and will be July and YEAH! I am going back to SINGAPORE!! WooHOO!!

But I really need to buck up on my studies though.. My first test & assignments for Macroeconomics, Organizational Behavior & Accounting are not fantastic... am quite disappointed though. But I am not giving up!! Miracle is still possible! And yeah! I will do better in my upcoming 2 tests, 2 assignments and 1 presentation!

Faith without works is dead! So I wanna discipline myself really! I have no class today, but I made my way to campus to attend a Peer Assisted Study Program (P.A.S.S) for Macro, and I went to library to do some revision. Will make sure I make that consistent! Ha.. and thank God! I had arranged with Patsy & Janice to go library on every Thurs evening going forward. We will do our revision there from 6pm to maybe 10 or 11pm. Then we will take the campus security car back to our hostel. It is really more fruitful to study in the library... There are just too many distractions in the hostel! Haha.. OOPS! :P


Hope these 2 months will just pass by smoothly and quickly! I really don't like studying! Haha.. Oops... But... I will keep reminding myself this degree is for a better tomorrow! :)
