.. 1st half of the Year ..

It's 30th June, and we have come to the last day of 1st half of 2008! Wow! Isn't it FASSSSTTTTT!... Time indeed flies and I hope it has been a great half year for all of us! :)

19 June 08 : Samuel turned 1!

More than 100 people showed up on his birthday party!!.. It's even more happening than our 21st birthday!... hee hee... Samuel is really blessed!.. I believe it's because of his parents - Ryan and Mad! They are really AWESOME people whom had touched and impacted people's lives all around!

Samuel got tons of gifts and ang pows!.. And a BIG red car!

20 June 08 : Shi Fu's Birthday!

Gave Shi Fu a surprise birthday celebration!.. Asked her out for dinner, but had secretly arranged with the rest of the CG to be there!.. Turned out to be quite a success (apart from "leaking" Vic Vic out!) ... :P Met at Bugis... and we were given a SUPER BIG Milk Tea birthday treat!

21 June 08 : CG East Coast Fellowship!

Been a long long while since the CG last went to East Coast... I drove!! All the way from Boon Lay to East Coast! :P Thank you Vic Vic for guiding me!.. It's so fun driving an auto car!...
We had some simple games planned by Ng, Chong and Ben. Thanks bros! :)

28 June 08 : Pok Pok's 21st Birthday!

Pok Pok finally turned 21!! Pretty girl has grown and matured...

.. Amazing Grace ..

I had my practical driving test today at 2.45pm.

My usual lessons always went rather well... Not much of problem with all the parkings, circuit courses, etc..

But today, what could have gone wrong indeed went very wrong...

2 mistakes that were actually "immediate failure" kind of category.

The tester went through my mistakes with me after the whole driving test. As I heard what he said, my heart was heavy because I thought I failed this time.

There were actually 20 demerit points. The tester looked through the test assessment checklist. He canceled one penalty. It became 18 points.

I passed.

I thanked the tester, walked out of the "very stressful" room. I wanted to cry. I'm just so thankful to GOD for His grace, and favor....

This is indeed GRACE. AMAZING GRACE. And FAVOR of God and men.

I'm now a class 3 license holder, finally! It is indeed a dream that has come to pass!

Hallelujah, all praise & glory be to GOD!

I was chatting with Madeline that I learned a lot through this incident... We both agreed that sometimes God just seems to be a little "playful".. He let us experience a "heart attack" first, but still bring us through. It's just like a father playing with his children.. having fun.. but the father still blesses his children.

It wouldn't be possible for me to pass my driving test today if God had not intervened.

God gave me a fresh new encounter and experience of what GRACE is really all about.

I'm very thankful to God. Very thankful to all who had supported me in prayers and a friend crossing her fingers.

It wouldn't be possible.... But God always makes things possible...

Thank God for my family and friends around me. I feel so blessed.

God is good. All the time.

Short blog to declare that.... My blog is not dead!!...

Been really busy.. Grace Grace..

New dept, still adapting to it... The good thing is so far I don't need to work OT any more in the week. But, I really really miss my colleagues at Branch Support. Poor them.... stayed few nights in a row... Really hope they can be "delivered" from this soon.....

Rushing for assignment over the last week... it was really tough! Marketing Management, I can't really relate to the banking industry that I am in!.. Thus this module is really challenging. Stayed up till 4am last Sunday, could not finish it. Took urgent leave on Monday, and finally completed it at 3pm. In time for deadline. But it's not over, exam is on THIS SAT!!...

I need God's grace.........................

Sat exam. Wed starts new module - Operations Management. Thurs is my driving TEST!!!!..

Blog again some day again.... got lots to upload!... :)
