Easter this year is different for me... For the last 9 years, Easter had always been celebrated in CHC, with CG, loved ones, etc etc...
Nevertheless, I went for services on Good Friday & Easter Sunday. Good to hear the Word of God! First time hearing Christine Caine preached! She is awesome! Very inspired by her life. No matter what happens in life, it is really not a matter of what your circumstances are. It's more important how you CHOOSE to respond to it. And the amazing thing is, how, with the grace of God and His strength, what seems to be "bad" will always turn out otherwise. You can choose to complain, choose to grumble, choose to think that life in unfair to you. But hey. Instead of being a "victim" of circumstances, why not CHOOSE to come out victorious?
John 10:10 says there is an abundant life for you and I in Christ!
I miss my guitar... I miss worshiping God with my guitar... I miss worshiping God in CGM with W116.. I miss the fellowship with W116... I miss being in City Harvest Church, it has already been so a part of my life!!
It is really after leaving Singapore that I get to really really realise what are really really precious to me. Not that I don't appreciate them, but guess everything will always be taken for granted. The food that my mum always cooked, but I seldom have time to eat at home. Now that I have to cook for myself, sometimes it's really such a headache!! What to cook for today?..
I miss my family so much. My dad, mum, 姐,姐夫,文文,Sam Sam and Dan Dan..
Anyway, talk about the Easter drama. I watched online 3-4 times! I feel iMing is still the best ever, but this year's production is great as well. I am touched especially by these 2 parts:
1. Man can try coming out with man-made solution. But, it will never be adequate to solve the sin problem of mankind.
2. The part when Carmen died, and Silas tried to "wake" her up with the different medications he can make. When Jesus came, He resurrected her and she lives! There are things in life that man can never do, and only God can do!
I am thankful that Jesus had died on the cross for me. Am still thankful and will always be thankful. And I am glad that I had CHOSE to believe in Him and make Him the Lord of my life.
I really hope I can achieve more here in Adelaide. Things of God. I want more... I thirst for more...
Anyway, took some pictures in Paradise Church!
