Some of the gals didn't go... which I hope the next offsite, they will be there! :)
There was a lot of traveling in this trip.. so was really tired. Slept a lot during the bus journeys.... Left SGP on 26 Sep 08 @ 2.30pm, but we only managed to reach KL at around 8pm plus. Waited for a bus to transit to Swiss Garden hotel, so by the time we reached the hotel, checked in, changed, met for dinner, it was already 9pm. By the time we finished the dinner (quite a sumptuous one!.. RM400! Big big boss said it's on the company.. :P).. it was already 10.30pm... Wanted to go to "Chee Qiong Kai" night market to buy a pair of cute shoes for Samuel, but it was late already... Heard that the night market closes at 11pm, and we were a bit of a distance away, so we didn't manage to go... SO SAD LOR. Going KL without going to "Chee Qiong Kai" is like going Taiwan without going to the night markets. How sad is that, right....
Nevertheless, never mind lor.. :/
Then we walked around the area... and we went for massage! We went for the head, shoulders and feet massage, at only RM54 for an hour... which I think it's really cheap lah. The massage lady massaged some of the sensitive areas, which I really got to "tahan" for not laughing out or wriggling my body. I clenched my fists... and "忍,忍,忍"... Some parts were so painful!.... It was so torturing!.. But I was glad when the hour was over!.. But actually, I think this kind of massage should not be neglected, as in, should go once every month?.. especially when working in an office environment, our sitting postures and everything, give us stiff back and neck. So.. I guess we just have to "torture" ourselves at times. Lol...
The next day we left the hotel at 12pm and set off for Genting Highlands. So, another hour plus bus journey.... Slept most of it... The whole Genting trip was kinda ok. Went shopping, eat, drink, enjoy the cold cold air. The most fulfilling part was catching this movie - 保持通话, at only RM11. That is about S$4.60. Where can you get this kind of ticket price in SGP. Hee hee... It was quite a nice show! Think most of us enjoyed it very much.... You should go catch it if you haven't... :P
This trip was quite fun lah. Apart from the many many travelings, no "Chee Qiong Kai", and the horrible "messy" crowd at the JB checkpoint, I really enjoyed the fellowship with the people... Hope next year we can go somewhere "further"... :) and by plane... :P
I pray let the economy pick up soon!!..
