.. His Goodness, His Love..
Finally I'm back to do some updating!
Been real real busy over the last 2 weeks.. Slept very little & fell a little sick.. had a bad sore throat. Realised that I will suffer from that whenever I had little sleep!... My resolution for the 2nd part of the year is to sleep early. Ha. I know both Wen & Shi Fu will laugh their teeth off at this resolution of mine. :p Anyway, I will try.
I want to thank God for these 2 things!
1. I have made a profit of $6k plus from my unit trust investment! Was pleasantly surprised when I received the latest statement.. Hee.. will be so useful towards buying my dream pent-house... :P
2. The Bangkok trip is confirmed!! :) :) :)
This morning my office was kept alive with the discussion of this. Many of us were so excited!! Hee.. Yeah, finally can go take a break for a holiday, for FREE somemore.. Hoho.. Am looking forward to that... :)
God is good.
Some people just can't trust God with their lives. I wonder why. They think they are better off without God. This just reminds me of the Parable of the Prodigal son. He had to "finally come to his senses" before he realised his need for his father & the family. And of cos the father will always receive him because he is a good & loving father.
I backslidden once in my life. And that was all I needed to have the conviction of how much I need God, not just for a period, but EVERYDAY of my life. It just bewildered me that some can backslide again & again, thinking that their lives can be changed when they leave God. But, how to change when one refused to change, in his heart, in his mind & in his attitude towards life?
At the end of the day, everyone has move on. And you are left behind. Everything has to start from scratch again...
Why doubt the goodness of God? Why forget the love that God has for your life?
Why be so enticed by the world? As Jesus is tempted by the devil in the wilderness, you are tempted too. But Jesus overcame. Can you?
8 Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
9 “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.”
10 “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say,
‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”
11 Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.
As we overcome situations in our life, choosing to believe in God, He will minister to us. This is His love.
Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love
31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.
34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”)
37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I pray, may all stand strong in God.
His love never fails.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Make God your choice. Your priority.

.. 2nd HALF of the YEAR ..
Time really flies.. We've entered into the 2nd part of the year. 6 months had passed, looking back, it was a good half of 2007! :)
Jan - a "surprise" birthday celebration from beloved members! So touched, tears shed! =..)
Feb - a prosperous CNY. ANG POWs!! =D
March - Officially promoted & got my increment. Hoho...
April - W116 multiplied!! E448 emerged!! YEah! =)
May - Family Day. Blessed with a Nokia 5200 HP! Start of SOTM series! Very blessed!
June - Samuel is born!! HE is SOOOOOO cute.... :P
Wow! What a great year it had been so far. God is indeed good!
Of cos there had been challenges... heartaches.. disappointments.. but come to think of it, can't really remember any of them anymore. Anyway it's good cos indeed we shall always focus on the positive. Once again overcame the challenges by the grace of God. He is indeed good & always faithful.
He is the same yesterday, today & forever. (",)
Started the 2nd part of the year well with meeting & praying together with some members today. We want to believe God for a great 6 months ahead of us for the whole church, our CGs and every member & their families! Indeed it shall be! Amen.
