.. Breaking Intimidation ..

Janice lent me this book by John Bevere, and I finally started reading it!! I need to read more, and when my guitar arrives, I shall have more quality QT! :)

This book is really good! John Bevere is a great writer, but more than that, his life experiences really encourage and inspire me!

Just want to get some very good pointers written down so that I can always meditate on them!

"Revelation is of no value without the wisdom and character to live it out."

"As Christians, character should be our first priority and pursuit."

I like this:

"Some Christians will travel great distance -- hundred of miles -- to go to a miracle, prophetic or anointing service, but they are unwilling to deal with the anger, unforgiveness or bitterness in their own hearts. This is evidence that their emphasis is on power rather than character."

How true isn't it? At the end of the day, character is still most important! If we really want to breakthrough and move on, the change has to start with us!

And this is really really good:

"The goal of the high call of Christianity is not the power of God or ministry; it is to know Me."

My prayer of this year is that I will get to know God more, all over again. Love Him the way I used to love Him. In fact, even more. That first love....

April is ending soon!!.. It's Wen Wen's birthday today! Days like that make me really miss my family so much!!...

I think Australia is many people's ideal & dream place to stay in... The slower pace, the cooler weather etc etc...

Many people asked me why do I want to return to Singapore after graduation... why not stay and work in Australia...

Haha. I think 2 years in Australia is more than enough for me. It is a good place for vacation, to R&R... Driving on the freeway is FUN. Hee hee...

BUT... a year and 4 months here have already convicted my heart that my family means a lot to me.. Spending time together, living together, celebrating birthdays together. I miss these!

And definitely the church people back home in CHC. I miss these people so much!

But nonetheless there is definitely a great purpose for me to be here for 2 years! I will live it to the fullest! :)

School starts tomorrow!! YIPPEEEEE!!!

P/s: JANICE CHIANG!! Thanks for lending me this book to read! :)

I just love these houses by the ocean so much!!

Common sight to see sheep, cows, horses....

Reached the Twelve Apostles!

Awesome sight!!!

Sun had set, sky was turning dark...
We continued our journey back to Adelaide.

Roads without lamp posts...
It was indeed an exciting journey back!

Finally back to hostel safe & sound at 2.30am!
Thankful to God for journey mercy and a great Melbourne trip!! :)

Parliament of Victoria

Somewhere further down...

St. Patrick's Cathedral.... Very nice building

But the feeling inside the building is too solemn... made us a little uncomfortable...

A fountain just outside the church

Spotted this along the street as we continued our journey to the state library...

The State Library! Majestic building...

Continued our journey to Chadstone Shopping Centre, supposed to be the biggest in town?
This expressway is so CTE-look-alike...

This shopping centre has almost everything, high-end and low-end shops...

Dinner @ Corretto, yummy Italian pasta & pizzas...
Ferrari's decos all over the place, the owner must be a BIG FAN of it.

We queued for about 30mins++...

LUNA amusement park!

We went for 2 rides! Each ride was A$8.50....
Were super excited initially but the rides were so disappointing!
HAHA. NO THRILL!

Fascinated by the weird mirror that made us looked like dwarfs...

Day 4 and the journey back to Adelaide via Great Ocean Road up next!
