.. IPB New Hires Training ..

Started my new career adventure in IPB on 12 May 08! Now still in the midst of attending the new hires training, which is about 2 and a half weeks. So, now is really "honeymoon" period...

Covered a lot of topics.. But I guess the most interesting one was "IPB TEN COMMANDMENTS"! So biblical! Ha.. It was really interesting, but credit must goes to the trainer, Mr Edmund, cos he really made the session very lively. Heard from some colleagues that this topic is very boring, but at the end of the day, all of us enjoyed the session and the many stories he shared.

Basically he shared about the work ethics that we must have. There were too many incidents of how customers and even staffs tried to cheat the bank. Well well.. At the end of the day, integrity is really important. One may get away with it. But, I believe justice will always be there, cos God is alive, and He is watching!..

So, don't do silly things. :)

..I miss my AO team colleagues!..

.. Long weekend is soooo good ..

Today is Vesak Day, so it's a public holiday!! Means.. No need to go to work! :P

Indeed how nice will it be if there are only 4 days to work in a week! :P Term such as "Monday blues" will not be there... But, guess there will be "Tuesday blues" liao...

Slept at 6am this morning!! Busy packing & clearing the rest of my boxes and stuff. 3 garbage bags! That's how much "rubbish" I have. :P But glad that the packing is finally "done"... Need to go Ikea to get something to pack the CDs that I have. Tons of them!..

Need to start my Marketing Management assignment soon!! Due date is 29 May. Very stress...... cos it's really HARD...........

Pray for grace and wisdom.... :)

.. Goodbye Branch Support ..

May 9, 08 marks my last day with Branch Support..

It was really an emotional day for me..

In the morning huddle, our team leader Serena briefed us on certain things happening in the dept. And the last thing she said was that it was my last day with them. She made it sounded so sad lah, I was actually okie one.. But tears then just started flowing........ She asked me to give a speech, I can't even say anything much... So pai seh, to weep in front of the team. I think it is their first time (besides Jason) seeing me CRY lo.. Anyway, I saw teary eyes among some too...

Then just continued to work for the rest of the day... Sent out my farewell emails to the dept and AO Team at 5.30pm.. I went to say goodbye to every colleague, with a rather heavy heart.. Passed them some chocolates that I bought for them. Then the 2nd round of tears just started again when I bid farewell to CI Team.. Aiyo, really feel so sad lor.... Took some pictures with the people..

For my team, everyone took individual picture with me, I felt like a "STAR".. Haha.. So funny. Eyes were blinded temporarily by the flash!.. Nevertheless, good lah! With the pictures, I can place them at my new desk!..

So emotional hor... God has created me this way... :)

Then my team also prepared some "surprises" for me.. We had dinner at the.. Hmmm.. Park Royal's Swensens? Is it Park Royal? Anyway, it's the one at Somerset. Sue was there!! :) Thought won't get to see her cos she was on compliance leave.

We had a good dinner.. took pictures! At the end of the day, can see that everyone was tired!

Thank you guys! For everything you all had done for me! I will miss working with you!..

Think I was really drained emotionally.. Midway through the dinner I got headache liao.. But cannot go home, cos promised to watch a movie with W116. So I went ahead to the movie - Speedracer. Guess what? Haha.. I only watched for about 10mins, then I fell asleep throughout the show! In between I woke up twice, adjusted my posture, and immediately went back to sleep again. Hee... I'm sorry guys.. Next time we go watch another show okie! :P

Here are some pictures we took at Swensen's.

I will MISS you all!

As I move on to the next phrase of my career path, may the Lord continue to lead and guide me.

For His glory. :)

.. Samuel's minor OP ..

Time flies! Samuel is going to be 11 months soon, and 1 year old in June!

Now that Mad and Jie Fu moved over and stayed with us, we can see Samuel everyday!! YEAH!! He is really sooooooo adorable!

Baby Esther is on her way. Mad went for a scan recently, the foetus has formed! We can see the head and body now! :)

Samuel is going for a minor op tomorrow at 9am. So sad.. He's so young..... Nevertheless, let's pray for a smooth op and things will be fine!

We love Baby Samuel!

.. Sending Li Ern off ..

Went to send Li Ern off on 3 May 08. We will indeed miss having her around..

Something special that we did for her.. She wanted to buy the famous Tanjung Rhu's Bao back home, but wasn't able to. Shi Fu suggested that we will get her some so that she can bring them home! Thank God for Vic too, she drove us to the place and we managed to get some boxes of Bao for her. When we gave it to her at the airport, you must see the look on her face! She is SHOCKED, SURPRISED, and definitely LOVED!.. It's so good to make people's day. :)

Thank God for Shi Fu! It takes love and sensitivity to go the extra mile for someone! :)

Most of the members came to see her off.. here are the pictures!

Something funny happened at the airport too.. Hee... You can read more at Jason Ng's blog! :P

.. Geylang's Frog Porridge ..

Li Ern went back to Kuching on 3 May 08. Shi Fu and I brought our 3 foreign friends to eat the famous Geylang's Frog Porridge on 1 May 08. So that at least when they go back to their respective countries, they can have memories that they were here before!.. Also to celebrate Li Ern's belated birthday.. Here are some pictures. They enjoyed the food! :)

Jung Mun will be leaving to Korea on 27 May! We will miss having him around!

But really thank God for the opportunity to know these wonderful people! =D
